Little Hawk Logistics as an Airline

Since our first flight in March of 2015, Little Hawk Logistics has continued to grow in many ways. From a shallow and sporadic pool of clients to what now is a large and dedicated group of individuals and businesses that trust and rely on the aircraft and my professional skills. That evolution has resulted in an organic growth in awareness of my services with this aircraft throughout the region and the country. Those direct referrals from current and previous clients to friends, family and colleagues bring in new clients that are coming to Little Hawk because they know that their travel needs will be served with all of the safety, comfort and efficiency they demand.

The statistics are impressive when you realize all of this work was done by a single aircraft and only myself as the pilot. Scaling this model up to multiple aircraft and pilots will not result in a linear expansion in the business, but will have a multiplier effect of picking up overlapping trips that otherwise would have been declined due to scheduling conflicts.

My plans to acquire another aircraft, whether another TBM or other type as is appropriate are still active and developing.

This year I have already significantly exceeded the total flight time from all of last year and am on track for 350+ hours by the end of 2017. This is a massive increase in productivity, and shows the true capacity of this aircraft to run the business. These are the numbers since 2015 year to date:

A partial year of flying in the startup year of 2015, lots of down time for avionics upgrades in 2016. But a full and very active year of flying in 2017.
